On October 6, 2025, CEM Global Solutions gathered leaders from across industries in Las Vegas for the Cloud Innovation Conference. The event built on two prior years of enterprise cloud conversations and focused squarely on what now defines the discipline: running multi-cloud at scale, operationalizing AI, and turning platform engineering into a competitive advantage.

Opening Keynote: The Multi-Cloud Reality, Three Years In

The opening keynote looked back at the predictions made in 2023 and asked which ones actually held up. Multi-cloud is no longer optional for most large enterprises. Regulatory pressure, resiliency requirements, and AI compute availability have made it a fact of life. The conversation has shifted from whether to adopt multi-cloud to how to operate it sustainably without drowning in complexity.

Featured Sessions

  • The AI-Native Enterprise Stack: Reference architectures for training, fine-tuning, and inference across cloud providers.
  • Agentic Workflows in Production: How agent-driven automation is reshaping ITSM, customer service, and back-office operations.
  • Sovereign and Regional Cloud: Navigating data residency, compliance, and geopolitical considerations at global scale.
  • Platform Engineering Metrics That Matter: Developer experience, lead time for change, and the economics of internal platforms.
  • FinOps and AI Cost Control: Why AI bills are breaking budgets and how to build guardrails before they do.
  • Zero-Trust in an Identity-First World: Rethinking access when workloads, agents, and humans all need credentials.
  • Data Quality as a Product: Turning data reliability into a first-class engineering discipline with SLOs and contracts.
  • Green Cloud and Carbon-Aware Architecture: Optimizing workloads for sustainability without sacrificing performance.
  • Edge and 5G for Industrial Workloads: Extending the cloud operating model into factories, vehicles, and distributed assets.

Customer Spotlights

Three customer spotlights gave the day its most memorable moments. A Fortune 100 insurer walked through its three-year migration from a legacy mainframe core to a modern, event-driven cloud platform and the hard-won lessons along the way. A national healthcare network shared how it deployed a HIPAA-compliant generative AI platform for clinical documentation across thirty hospitals. A global logistics company described how agentic automation transformed exception handling in its supply chain operations center.

Hands-On Labs

Afternoon labs focused on practical skills. Participants built a secure multi-cloud landing zone with centralized policy, configured retrieval-augmented generation over enterprise data, stood up a FinOps dashboard that tied cost back to product owners, and modeled an agentic workflow that could triage and resolve common ITSM tickets. These labs remain the most valuable part of our events, and the 2025 edition set a new benchmark.

Themes That Emerged

Several themes threaded through the conference. AI is no longer a workload running on top of cloud. It is rapidly becoming the reason cloud architectures exist. Platform engineering has graduated into a product discipline with measurable outcomes tied to business value. FinOps has moved from reporting to real-time governance, and the cost conversation around AI is now as important as the one around compute and storage. Finally, security, sustainability, and sovereignty are converging into a single design concern rather than three separate tracks.

Announcements and Roadmap

We closed the day with a set of announcements including updated accelerators for AI-ready landing zones, a new reference architecture for agentic operations, a refreshed FinOps maturity model, and a deeper investment in platform engineering enablement for enterprise customers. We also announced the dates for our 2026 Summit, which will bring the conversation from multi-cloud into the agentic enterprise era.

The teams that will win over the next five years are not the ones with the most cloud certifications. They are the ones who turn cloud, data, and AI into a coherent operating model their business can actually use.

Thank you to every speaker, sponsor, customer, and attendee who made the Cloud Innovation Conference 2025 a landmark event. We are already building toward what comes next, and we look forward to seeing you there.
